The Village of Irvington is participating in a multi-jurisdictional joint paving and road milling project. The bidding process is being conducted by the Village of Ardsley. Please carefully follow all instructions below relating to bid documents and submission procedures.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village Clerk of the Village of Ardsley until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, Village Hall, 507 Ashford Avenue, Ardsley, New York 10502 at which time and place said sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing and/or placing of the following materials:
Milling existing roadway surface, adjust manholes, valve boxes, curbing, catch basins, tack coat, and resurfacing with top course.
Specifications and Bid proposal forms will be available on Friday, June 22 at the Office of the Village Clerk. A non-refundable fee of $25.00 will be charged for each specification package obtained.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany the bid proposal. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified check or bank check in the amount of 5% of the bid, accompanied by a Consent of Surety, must accompany the bid proposal.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked “Bid for 2012 Road Resurfacing – due July 6, 2012.” The Village of Ardsley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities at their discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Village of Ardsley even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder.
