In the Fall of 2008, the Village engaged the services of the Cornell Cooperative Extension through their SWAT (Specialized Weekday Arborist Team) program to complete a street tree inventory for the portion of the Village including Broadway and west of Broadway. The remaining Village is expected to be inventoried completed during 2009.
On March 16, 2009, representatives of the Hudson Valley SWAT program made a
presentation to the Village Board at a regular public meeting.
