Proposed Dog Park
Dog Park Sketch Plans_Page_5_cropped_reduced.jpg
The Board of Trustees is currently considering the creation of a dog park.  The location currently being considered is an area off Cyrus Field Road behind the Irvington Reservoir.  On September 16, 2015, Superintendent of Recreation and Parks, Joe Archino, presented preliminary sketch plans of a dog park as it would lay out at that location.  A copy of those sketch plans is located below.

The public is invited to visit and walk the site of the proposed dog park in order to get a better sense of exactly how it will be laid out.  Representatives of the Parks Department will be available to help answer any questions.  The dates are:

Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 9:30am to 10:30am
Location for 9/26 site walk: Behind the Irvington Reservoir. Travel east up Harriman Road from Broadway, continuing around the Reservoir.  Use the parking lot, just past the Reservoir on the left side.

Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 9:30am to 10:30am - **NOW AT MATTHIESSEN PARK**
Location for 11/21 site walk: Meet at the entrance to Matthiessen Park
