Letter to Rivertowns Enterprise - Celebrate Irvington - June 18, 2017

To the Editor,

Many groups and individuals contributed to making Celebrate Irvington, June 18,  a fun day for many families and visitors. Special thanks to Sunnyside Federal Saving & Loan Association, Rebekah FioRito, The Tishelman Joy Team at Houlihan Lawrence, Abbott House, Slow Down Irvington, Urgent Care of Westchester. Many Main Street area businesses participated in various ways, and all are greatly appreciated. 

In addition many helped and participated including,The Village of Irvington, Irvington Union Free School District, The Irvington Public Library, Riverkeeper, The Irvington Town Hall Theater & Irvington Recreation & Parks Dept., The Irvington Police Department, See the Wish, the Irvington Volunteer Ambulance Corp, The Irvington Historical Society & the Tiffany Room Committee, The Daughters of the American Revolution, Irvington Farmers Market, Historic Hudson River Town, Live Wire Security  - DoctorMac, Irvington Printing: Kristy Schmitt. Volunteers and others who assisted included Nina Rossi, Sara Kelsey, Amy Sherwood, Jennifer Orkin Lewis, Emily Kotchen, Kathy Kaufman, Pia Salk,  Robert Firpo-Cappiello, Kevin Weber, Mike Azziz, Bill FioRito, Deb Fields, Reg Marra,Terry Masterson, Joe Ramos, James  Hodge, Paula Etzel, Fred Gillan, Jr., Curtis Beacraft,  Karen Schatzel, Janice Silverberg, Mark Gilliland and Mayor Brian Smith. Many others, of course, were very helpful and supportive.
