[ARCHIVED] Advisory Regarding Upcoming Filming Activities

Over the next week, Dreamworks Studios will be filming in a variety of locations around the Village. As a result, you will notice a significant amount of activity at the O’Hara Nature Center, the Irvington Reservoir and police gun range along Cyrus Field Road, Village Hall, and the Irvington Public Library during this time period.

This email summarizes the locations and any schedule changes associated with the filming activities in the next week. We expect additional filming activities in early January which will be summarized at a later date.

IRVINGTON WOODS (adjacent to Irvington Reservoir)

The trails parking lot will be unavailable for use from Monday, December 14 through Wednesday, December 16. In addition, on Monday and Tuesday, there will be alternating lane closures on Cyrus Field Road generally from 4am to 10pm to allow for parking of filming-related vehicles on Cyrus Field Road adjacent to the reservoir. Irvington Police will be on site to facilitate this.


O’HARA NATURE CENTER

The O’Hara Nature Center parking lot will be unavailable on Friday, December 11 and Monday, December 14 through Wednesday, December 16. In addition, the O’Hara Nature Center building will be closed on Tuesday, December 15.


VILLAGE HALL

From Tuesday, December 15 through Thursday, December 17, there will be no access to the Clerk’s office. Clerk’s office staff will be available in the Court Room during business hours. Also, on Wednesday, December 16, there will be no access to the Administrator’s office, the Building Department, or the Tiffany Room. Access to the Justice Court, Town Hall Theater, and Police Department will be unaffected by the filming operations.


LIBRARY

On Wednesday, December 16, there will be limited parking available in the vicinity of the Library. The Library will be open for its regular hours until 5pm, however, patrons are urged to avoid driving or parking in the area.
