COLOR FEST 2016
The Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute will be holding a fundraising event called COLOR FEST in Scenic Hudson Park this Sunday. The event will take place this Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and includes a walk/run through Irvington along with music, dancing, and food trucks. For more information or to register visit: http://www.efli-life.org/color
Also, because of COLOR FEST, there will be some intermittent closures of streets around the lower part of Main Street on Sunday morning. The Village web site has all of the details.
Reassessment Phase In
Going back several decades, the Irvington Board of Trustees has publicly supported revaluation for many years provided the results of the revaluation were phased in to help lessen the impact after 60 years of neglect. The current Board of Trustees and I continue to support a phased in approach. Yesterday, we wrote to Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner and the members of the Town Board to urge them to adopt a phased in approach. Our letter is posted at: http://www.irvingtonny.gov/DocumentCenter/View/8008
Celebrate Irvington and Photo Contest
Keep posting those photos for the #celebrateirvington photo contest. By the looks of it, the bar is set pretty high to win that $100 gift certificate. Here’s a sampling of photos submitted:
