[ARCHIVED] TRAFFIC ALERT Station Road Closure

Station Road will be closed at Brook Place starting August 7 for up to 8 weeks.

The Village has been working to replace a culvert on Station Road near Brook Place.  The contractor is set to begin work on Monday, August 7, at which time Station Road will be shut down to thru traffic.   The closure is expected to last 8 weeks.

Properties on Station Road to the east of the construction zone will need to gain access from Broadway through the tunnel.  Properties to the west of the construction zone along Station Road, Oak Street, Willow Street, Maple Street, Woodbine Road, and Brook Place will need to gain access from South Buckhout Street.  Appropriate detour signage will be placed on Broadway, lower Harriman, West Clinton, South Buckhout, Main Street, and Station Road itself.

The closure has been coordinated with emergency services, public works, and the Irvington schools.

For residents who are unsure of exactly how they will be accessing their property, the following list of addresses will need to access their property through the Station Road tunnel:

63 Station Road
65 Station Road
69 Station Road
70 Station Road
73 Station Road
75 Station Road
