The Friends of the Irvington Library is delighted to announce that team registration is open for the first Community-Wide Spelling Bee of the new decade. All honey gathered benefits the Irvington Public Library and will be used to provide all of us with the services that sweeten our lives.
This sell-out, crowd-pleasing, and entertaining event will take place on Friday, February 28th 2020, at the Irvington Town Hall Theater at 7 pm. Audience tickets are available now on the Theater website.
Remember you don’t have to be a queen bee to create a team - all drone, queen and worker bees are welcome! Teams are comprised of three people including the team captain, so team up with your coworkers, friends, neighborhood, place of worship, etc., and join the fun! Spelling well is not a must but it sure helps if you want to get a honey of prize and bragging rights until the next Bee.
Teams are recorded in the order in which their registration and fee are received. Click here for a link to our online registration.
Only 20 teams can compete, so reserve your spot now--
the deadline is February 10th!
We thank you in advance for your renewed support of this very successful community event.
