[ARCHIVED] Recreation & Parks Department - Important Closure Announcement

All Programs, activities & rentals are Suspended Starting Today Friday March 13th through Tuesday March 31st, 2020

This is for programs and activities scheduled for the O’Hara Nature Center, Senior Citizen Center, I.K. Benjamin Community Center and Rec Programs scheduled for any School District facility.

The Senior Citizen Center will be Closed to seniors during this period.

The O’Hara Nature Center will be Closed during this period.

The Recreation & Parks Department Offices located in the I.K. Benjamin Community Center at 71 Main Street will remain opened during this period on weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Programs impacted by this include youth & adult basketball, youth soccer, adult volleyball, baseball clinics, Music with Marc, cooking classes, ballet, dance,

Kidi-Corner, Lil Cooks, Stepping Stones Gil Scout meetings, facility indoor rentals, open gym, all Senior Citizen programs and transportation.

All Parks will remain open operating at normal hours with the Exception of Matthiessen Park, which will close as of Monday March 16th, 2020 for renovation of the playground and pathways.
