By now, I’m sure you’ll be reminded many times that today is Census Day. It’s that day that comes along every 10 years when all of us get counted. Of course, the counting process doesn’t happen all in one day. In fact, it started a few weeks ago and will go on for several months.
This time around, the Census Bureau is sending invitations for you to respond using the internet or over the phone. You should have received your invitation already. A sample copy is shown on this page.
The Census Bureau will keep sending reminders if you haven’t responded yet, so if you want the reminders to stop, just jump right on and get it done now. If you ignore the reminders, you’ll be visited by a Census worker in a few months. There’s another incentive to respond right away!
If you can’t find your invitation, you can still respond. There will be a few extra questions to make sure they know who you are.
Either way, visit 2020Census.gov to complete your response. If you have any questions or need help in completing your response, feel free to call me at (914) 591-4358.
Be well.
