Join the Irvington Theater and the O’Hara Nature Center for this two-part eco-festival celebrating local solutions


Friday night: The Anthony Bourdain-produced film Wasted! screened on the lovely O’Hara Nature Center lawn, along with a panel about food waste including the film’s director Nari Kye and representatives from Greenburgh Nature Center, Hudson Compost, Mom's Organic Market and Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry. Plus samples of local food including Chutney Masala's samosas.

Saturday 2-4pm offers a chance to "meet the experts" offering local solutions and family-friendly activities. At 4pm soak up the incredible Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir who "use the theater of protest, spectacle, and the sincere intensity of song to preach about environmental issues, will perform an uplifting and irreverent show."
