The Bulldog Walking Gallery

The Bulldog Gallery Committee, together with the Village of Irvington, are planning a new immersive art installation called the “Bulldog Walking Gallery" which will take place on the streets of Irvington this Spring and Summer!

Through this innovative program, local artists will give unique and colorful designs to bulldog statues sponsored by local business and civic associations, that will adorn our sidewalks. Each one-of-a-kind piece will be displayed in front of sponsor locations and points of interest around town for all to enjoy. In the Fall, decorated statues go to a live auction, with 25% of proceeds paying respective artists for their work, and the balance of funds benefitting downtown revitalization.

Call to Business and Artist Sponsors:

Businesses and Civic associations are invited to “adopt” a pup, and will be paired with an Artist sponsor. It is a wonderful way to promote your brand and support the local community. Sponsors and Artists will have QR codes on statue platforms connecting gallery patrons directly to their digital content. High quality gallery maps and guides will further promote everyone involved in the project.

This is an opportunity for new customers to discover the wonderful businesses that comprise downtown Irvington, especially by boosting potential customer visits during quieter summer months. While the gallery will benefit all businesses, those that sponsor a statue will get the most visibility. Civic associations are invited to participate as well to connect with the community through art. And we need the creative spirit of local artists to make this dream come alive.

Click here (https://linktr.ee/bulldoggallery) for further details on the program, sponsorship packets and see other ways to support. You can stop by Gallé at 49 Main Street, to pick up Sponsor and Artists Packets in person, as well as drop off completed packets. Please submit all packets by February 15, 2023.

Our Go Fund Me is set up to kickstart this project, or, contact the Bulldog Gallery Committee if you would rather participate with the gift of your time!

Sincerely,

Kristina Schmidt
