Rocktoberfest

Dear Community Member,

As you may know, this November our beloved Mayor Brian Smith will be stepping down after 15 years of service to the village, with the last 13 as mayor.

The F.A.C.E Committee was the brainchild of Brian and its mission was to raise needed funds to be able to keep valued programs and events continuing. His hope was that events sponsored by the F.A.C.E Committee would provide a day of fun and celebration.

F.A.C.E has been responsible for a variety of amazing community-based activities beginning with the Penguin Plunge in 2012 and showcased now by the infamous Rocktoberfest event held each September.  Rocktoberfest has grown into a full-blown festival with live music, over 12 food trucks and local fare, kid’s activities and crafts, and beer and wine.  Last year’s attendance grew to a crowd of over 3,500 throughout the day.

This year’s Rocktoberfest will also include recognition of Brian’s hard work and love for the Village of Irvington. Come raise a glass to (and with!) him on Saturday, September 30th, 2023.

Rocktoberfest is a fundraising event, and its goal is to raise $30,000 prior to the event with help through your generous sponsorship or donation. It’s a great way for your company to both promote their business and show their support for the community.

Sponsorship levels available: $2,500, $1,500, $1,000, and $500.

A special “Well Wisher” sign is available to send Brian a personalized message too!! $250.

Sponsors will be recognized with signage in the park at the event and included in social media postings.

Contact Joe Archino at 914-591-8217 or 914-760-8657 to find out more about sponsorships opportunities.

Together let’s make this Rocktoberfest one for the record books!

Sincerely,

THE FACE COMMITTEE, Fundraising and Community Events Committee
