[ARCHIVED] AstorBuck presentation concerning 50 South Buckhout Street

On October 5th at 7:00pm, the principals from AstorBuck Properties, LLC will be presenting their current plans to the Board of Trustees. The meeting will be held in the Court Room of Village Hall, 85 Main Street.

The Village has received a petition for a zoning change from AstorBuck Properties, LLC, owners of 50 South Buckhout Street (former Trent Building), regarding a proposed parking plan. The plan is an effort to address existing and future parking problems for the building and the neighborhood. The plan is to construct additional parking on six small lots that they own to the south of the building along South Buckhout Street. In addition, the Village owns a very small lot between their six lots and the building. Some of the alternatives to be presented include the use of the Village lot via easement or purchase. As contemplated in the zoning petition, all of the alternatives would require a zoning change for the six small lots from residential to business to allow for the new parking area. A public presentation on this topic occurred on July 29, 2009.
