CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS
The Village of Irvington is announcing a restoration project to replant greenery around the reservoir. The program is called “Spring 2010 Trees for Tribs” and was granted to the Village by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
On Saturday, May 15, 2010, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. we will be planting a total of 38 trees and 186 shrubs by the Irvington reservoir. We are hoping that all who love to get out in the fresh air and get their hands a little dirty will join us for “Planting Day”.
If you are interested in coming out for “Planting Day” please contact Lawrence Schopfer at 591-4358 or by e-mail: lschopfer@irvingtonny.gov.
