The Department of Public Works has made sand available for sand bagging. Loading of sand is self-sevice and free of charge. We do not provide bags which can be purchased at home improvement centers.
Sand may be picked up outside the DPW Salt Shed located at the end of South Astor Street (by the south end of the Irvington rail road parking lot).
