9:30am. A cycling event starts the day! "The Rivertowns Roll @ Aquefest!" Two rides: A family ride, and a more challenging group ride. (arrive at 9, park at the Dows Lane School lot and ride up to the trail to sign in and get a cue sheet) Start time 9:30a.m…end at the Aquefest for a day of music and fun! 11am SOLAR PUNCH powers the day with solar powered eco-tunes.
Noon THE FAIR HAIRED TINKERS celebrate the Irish who built the Aqueduct tunnel with a traditional Irish session by Eugene Bender on fiddle, accompanied by accordion.
1pm MUSIC BY ZEV Zev’s original music for children draws from many musical cultures and traditions to create songs about everyday childhood: family, fantasy, silliness and whimsy.
2pm The CLOCKTOWER PLAYERS sing, dance and perform from their upcoming adult troupe show, "Hairspray!" As the resident theater company of the Irvington Town Hall Theater, The CPT engage theater lovers of all ages with bring vibrant, jubilant theater to the community.
3pm JESSIE LAMBIASE: Known for her distinctly pure and mesmerizing voice, 19-year-old Irvington singer/songwriter Jessie Lambiase has been performing since she was 8-years-old. Her EP, “Still Waters” was released in 2007.
All DAY: Leaf rubbings with Aqueduct painter, Karen Kelleher; Henna artists, Cycling skills & safety with Westchester Bike Walk Alliance & SWEAC's Complete Streets. Tree care with The Care of Trees.
