All grievances and exemptions are processed by the Town of Greenburgh solely and will be applicable to Town, Village, County and School Taxes.
On November 21, 2011 the Village Board of Trustees adopted a local law to terminate the Village’s assessing unit status and rely instead on the assessment of Village properties made by the assess of the Town of Greenburgh.
The Town of Greenburgh 2011 Assessment Roll will be used for the bases of the Village 2012 tax bill.
All grievances and exemptions are processed by the Town of Greenburgh only and will be applicable to Town, Village, County and School Taxes.
Important Filing dates in the Town of Greenburgh:
• May 1, 2012: Last date to file for new and renewal of exemptions.
• June 1, 2012: Preliminary Assessment Roll Available
• June 1-19, 2012: Applications for Grievances will only be accepted during this time frame.
• September 15, 2012: Final Roll Filed.
