[ARCHIVED] Irvington's Holiday Happening This Saturday

This Saturday (12/1) is Irvington's Holiday Happening. Here's a rundown of events for the day:

Craft & Bake Sale at the Irvington Senior Center - 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

PTSA Winter Festival at the Main Street School. Gingerbread Houses and Hot Chocolate - 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Window and Door decorating Competition - The Chamber of Commerce is encouraging everyone to vote for their 3 favorite storefronts as they walk up and down Main Street. Place ballots in a box located in front of the Recreation Center (corner of Main Street and North Eckar Street). The winner will be announced after the Tree Lighting.

The Boy Scouts will be selling wreaths. Look for them near the Rip van Winkle statue by the Main Street School.

The annual Tree Lighting will be held at the Recreation Center on Main Street. Music and fun starts at 3:30 p.m. with the Tree Lighting at 5:00 p.m. Afterwards, members of the Irvington Fire Company will serve refreshments and cookies. Be sure to stop by for some holiday fun, music and cheer!
