[ARCHIVED] IMPORTANT - STAR Registration Deadline is December 31, 2013

RECIPIENTS MUST REAPPLY

The New York State Tax Department mailed instructions in early October to all homeowners who currently receive the Basic STAR exemption. The letters include a personal STAR code that homeowners will need to register through December 31, 2013. If you are currently receiving senior citizen exemptions you do not need to register, however, you must continue to apply the same way annually.
