How do I dispose of household appliances?
The company you purchase your new appliance from will most likely take the old one away at your request. Otherwise, the Village recycles these items. Scheduling is necessary. Call 591-6044 or e-mail gnilsson@irvingtonny.gov to schedule. Leave your address, telephone number and type of appliance. The DPW picks up these items curbside on Thursdays. Ensure all doors are removed or securely tied.
