Police Officer David Walsh, a lifelong Irvington resident, has proudly served the Village of Irvington as a police officer since 2002. He has built many relationships with the community, especially the senior citizens and people suffering from mental illness and their families. He is a police liaison to the Irvington senior citizens where he helps connect senior citizens to needed services. During his career, he has completed many training courses including a forty hour Crisis Intervention class. Police officer Walsh has received lifesaving awards and was formally recognized for a proactive felony drug arrest. He prides himself for being professional and empathetic.
