Officer Liberatore began his career in law enforcement in 2012 as a police officer with the New York City Police Department.  In November of 2016, he was sworn in as a police officer with the Irvington Police Department. Before his career in law enforcement, he worked as a paramedic in various cities and towns.  He is currently the medical officer in the Irvington Department, where he instructs his fellow officers on first aid and CPR.  In July of 2019, he received Carnegie Medal for police action taken while off duty where he bravely rescued a young girl that was being attacked by a rabid coyote in a park.  Officer Liberatore also actively serves in the Air National Guard flying in numerous combat support missions.
